The EGG was a success!
Our initial step to sucess was drawing out the blueprint of securing the egg. Everyone took part in the planning and in the end we had to choose from two ideas, so we all had to vote for marjority.
We had a brilliant idea of making this so called "dome" to protect the egg from breaking. All we had to do was drop the egg from twelve feet in the air, so we came up with the idea of making some sort of a fishing rod and the egg as "bait".
We all were assigned a part of the making this "dome". We had one person get the materials for our group when the time was due for the planning. One person was in charge of the tape, another person was in charge of the straws, and most important of all another person was in charge of the egg. And the rest created the "fishing rod".

Was your egg the one where you just slowly reeled it down? I won't lie, when I saw it happening, I was a little upset but thinking about it now, your team was pretty smart. You guys definitely thought out of the box and it paid off. Everybody was racking their brains thinking of how to build some cube, triangle, o some other structure to save their eggs and you guys easily just let it slide down. Very good thinking to whoever that thought about it.
I felt the same way as angela n. At the second I saw it I felt unfair. But in the other hand, no lying, you guys were really smart. After all it was really a fair game because you guys had clarify with the professor. Very good idea.
I was so surprise when your team show the egg. Your group was fully understand the goal for the experiment and just do whatever to meet the goal. We have never think of that idea to drop the egg down. I should say your group are smart.
I have to admit, I was very surprised when I seen your group lower your egg…mainly because I thought our group was the only one that thought to tie the straws together and lower the egg down. It also seems like you guys planned in a way similar to ours. Your whole process seems very "democratic" in that you voted on the best idea. Although we never formally voted I would say that we came to a consensus based on a few ideas.
